Chillchillcats is a small brand established by Cindy Tang in July 2022. After moving to the UK, she set out to showcase the vibrant spirit of Hong Kong life and the blending of cultures through her unique illustrations. The cat is the central character in each of her works, often exaggerated in size and transformed into whimsical, fantastical figures, serving as a reflection of her creativity. Her custom pet portraits, designed in an elegant, aristocratic style, are the brand’s most popular offerings. In November 2023, Cindy opened her first store at Leeds Kirkgate Market, before relocating to the Corn Exchange in 2024. The shop features her signature cat-themed art and products, alongside a curated selection of handmade goods from other independent artisans.
